One properly tagged twitter can make all big difference.

I made the following quick tweet in a workshop break

@smmscotland Giving a #workshop on #social media in #Edinburgh today. This is where the magic happens!

and this is what happened one minute later

One simple properly tagged tweet on a serious subject written in a friendly tone and hey presto! inside one minute I had found a potential customer

Yo Sushi screws up

Responding to Facebook comments it’s as important, if not more important, to attend properly to the negative and critical as it is the happy and satisfied.

The writer of this article, Amy Fowler,  former loyal customer of Yo Sushi,  got the brush off when she made a reasonable complaint. Happy customers, meanwhile, were greeted like old friends and fawned over.

Verdict: bad social media
