Social media is important to promoting business in the modern marketplace. It is no longer a matter of debate. That said, there is no one size fits all social media strategy! Each business has to recognise social media content that will benefit it most. What works for an artist may not work for a recruitment company. Similarly a restaurant’s offer differs from that of a music venue and its conversation with the market via Twitter or Facebook should reflect that.
In my work as social media consultant and trainer I have had the opportunity to focus on social media adapted to different industries. I now have a huge box full of great content ideas that need sorting out.
In the category Social media for ‘x’ I shall be sharing the ideas developed for specific industries/types of business.
Over the next few weeks I shall be writing on social media for…
• Recruitment
• Music/comedy/theatre venue
• Restaurants
• Hotels
• Engineering
• Publishing
• Art gallery / artist
The first industry to be the subject of ‘Social media for ‘X’ will be recruitment. Go to the post Social media for ‘Recruitment’ here.
If you work in a particular industry not covered in this list then let me know and I’ll get my thinking cap on.
